The Duke Environmental Leadership (DEL) Program is excited to announce its Fall 2008 Coca-Cola Seminar on Environmental Policy in NC: An Inside Look. The panel discussion will be introduced by Dr. Deborah Rigling Gallagher, Assistant Professor of the Practice of Environmental Policy and Executive Director of the Duke Environmental Leadership Program, and moderated by William (Bill) Holman, Director of State Policy for the Nicholas Institute of Environmental Policy Solutions and former Secretary of the Department of Environment & Natural Resources.
The seminar will inform the Duke and Triangle community about environmental policy in North Carolina in light of the recent Presidential and local elections. Environmental policy is complex, and the Duke Environmental Leadership (DEL) Program's goal for this seminar is to bring a variety of perspectives on current and emerging issues to the community. Ample time will be provided for audience members to interact with the panel comprised of representatives from state and local government, environmental advocacy groups, and local businesses.
The Coca-Cola Seminar Series is made possible by a generous grant from the Coca-Cola Foundation.
